Founded by a Maternity Assistant working within the NHS, our products are thoughtfully designed with the NHS safe sleep guidance at the heart. We understand the importance of providing a safe sleeping environment for babies and aim to support parents in doing just that.
The NHS recommends that babies sleep in a cot or moses basket on a flat, firm mattress, free from toys and cot bumpers. When using a blanket, it should be a cellular cotton blanket that provides warmth while allowing airflow. Babies should be placed on their back with their feet nearest the foot of the bassinet.
With these guidelines in mind, we use 100% cotton cord to craft our baskets. This natural material provides a sturdy structure while remaining breathable and safe for newborn babies.
Our bassinet mattresses are sourced from a UK manufacturer who meets the highest British standards for flammability, performance, and safety. The mattresses are firm, breathable and feature a removable, quilted cover. Each mattress is designed with baby's safety and comfort in mind and are made to the UK safety specifications.
